Lucifer rose, the Winchester’s failed and the apocalypse had begun. Lucifer broke out of the cage and hell, however he didn’t arrive at the final seal that had released him, instead he had arrived in Chicago ripping the earth open and creating a new hellmouth, the war for planet earth had begun. However Dean’s attempts to stop the war had weighed heavily on the minds of the archangels. Some of their siblings had rebelled and had committed actions that were not seen as the actions of an angel. Even though some angels believed that Dean and Sam should have been fighting alone with no help from the angels at all Castiel chose differently. He managed to convince Michael that the Winchesters needed their help rather than fighting alone. Michael agreed with this and allowed the altering of the timeline to happen for a hunter from the future yet to come to be brought to the past to be able to help fight the war. Ben Braden Winchester.
However the Winchester’s where not the only people that where called to fight this new threat to the earth, the believed long retired slayer Buffy Summers who had enabled all possible slayers to access their powers after the destruction of the Sunnydale hellmouth was called back into action, by the powers that be, who were also the angels that had been influencing the lives of the Winchesters. Now the sides are aligning for war, all of the slayers are gathering under the leadership of Buffy Summers and Faith Lehane. All of the hunters are gathering under the watchful eye of the Winchesters and Bobby Singer, however the angels have passed on one final gift to the defenders of the earth. Heroes and loved ones that had been believed to have been killed and were residing in Heaven have been returned to earth to help in the war as a gift to the heroes that the angels feel that they have unjustly treated.
However Lucifer’s forces are moving and war seems imminent.
