Appearance:

Vivian has long, soft, wavy dirty blond hair that reaches her mid-back. Her eyes are a dark brown, like sweet dark chocolate that she gets from her mother. She stands at five feet six inches with a healthy weight of one hundred and sixteen pounds. Vi's what you'd call lean and limber, with no sign of fat hanging from her toned body. Her skin has a healthy glow about it, only having become tanned from the sun. She prefers to wear fashionable yet comfortable clothes, so there is nothing extremely tight in her closet like leather pants. She mostly owns jeans of some sort with a few skirts and dresses for certain occasions. Though she does have a small obsession with shoes, owning at least two different pairs of all kinds of shoes.

Personality & Attitude:

Vivian is a pretty laid back kind of gal. She doesn't like to bother with all the craziness of getting worked up over boys or other drama like that. Sure she likes boys and all but she doesn't feel it's something to get worked up about if you get rejected. She feels that there's plenty of fish in the sea to not have a mental breakdown. She likes to approach things with a calm and collected air, wanting to get all the facts before she starts putting emotions into the mix.

Although Vi is laid back, she does like to have a good time. She can be quite the tease, openly flirting with any guy she feels is attractive. Her having a good time doesn't just stop with her, she likes to make sure everyone else is having fun too. So she'll do whatever it takes to get someone to smile and laugh along with the rest of the party. While she may sound all fun and dandy, she can have her bad moments too. She does have a temper like everyone else. She is prone to get angry when things she doesn't like or approve of are happening. And once you've gained the silent treatment, be ready to wait a long time till she starts speaking to you again, cause this girl knows how to hold a grudge!

Likes:

Vivian likes a lot of things, mainly shoes but lets not get into that. She really likes music, and so has shocking surplus of cd's piled on whatever open space in her dorm on her side. She also likes bracelets and rings, which she also has a surplus of that are stored on jewelry stands. And something some people find surprising is that she loves to read, things like sci-fi and fantasy, along with romance. A strange quirk of hers is that she likes skin to skin contact if she's feeling really into someone, so like holding hands or playing with fingers would be something she'd do.

Dislikes:

Vivian also dislikes a few things, such as insects. She positively hates them. She hates people who constantly follow the rules and never loosen up, that also goes for joy killers/party poopers too. She also dislikes floor shaking music, she's fine if its loud but if it starts shaking the floor then its too loud for her. She despises drama queens, they always ruin her laid back atmosphere. A pet peeve of hers is when someone can't sit still for five minutes. Watching them it makes her want to ducktape them to their seat and possibly rip all her hair out.

Background & History:

Vivian Katherine was born to Jonathan and Juliana Kensington on the 25th of May. She was there first born child, and so was dotted on her entire childhood. You could say she lived a rather priviledged life, what with her father owning a chain of wealthy banks across the country. Growing up little Vivian got everything her heart desired, though she was taught that things weren't everything since her mother had come from a more middle class background. When she was in second grade her mother gave birth to her little sister, Morgan. At first baby Morgan wasn't well liked by the seven year old Vivian, but she soon became a cherished friend.

Because their parents were very busy people, the two were usually left with a nanny whom suffered many hardships thanks to her two wards. Morgan served as a confidant for Vivian when she couldn't tell anyone else her troubles, even if the poor child couldn't understand everything her big sister said. As the two grew up, they were barely ever seen without the other in their younger years. When Vi was going into the seventh grade the Kensington family received terrible news. Jonathan Kensington had been brutally murdered for the money in his wallet. This news struck a great gloom upon the small family and the girls became home schooled.

When Vivian was to start high school she begged her mother to let her go to public school instead of being home schooled. Juliana was distraught with how to proceed with entering her daughter's back into public school and was very lonely with just her raising the girls. So, the three Kensington women set off to Ipswich, MA where Jonathan's brother Henry lived with his two daughters. With his help Juliana was able to enter her daughters into public schooling, and the family brightened once more on both sides. You see, Vivan's uncle had been widowed when his girls were still very young. Aunt Elizabeth had contracted a serious disease and was unable to fight it.

After a year at public schooling, Mrs. Kensington had been contacted about Vivian receiving a scholarship to go to the most prestigious bording school in Massachusetts, Spenser Academy. With urging from her uncle Henry, Vivian took the offer and started her Sophomore year at Spenser the following fall. Now she's a junior at Spenser Academy and is hoping to best all her scores from the previous year and make her family proud of her. As well as have some major good times with all her friends.

Vivian stood silently by her mother and sister as they watched her father be lowered into the cold ground. Her blond locks blew gently in the slight breeze, the tears rolling down her face drying quickly with the wind. Her young mind was still in shock, how could her loving father really be dead? Just for the paper in his wallet that wouldn't do the him any good once the police caught up with him. She was sure it had been a man who killed her father, who else would be so cruel as to rip a father from his daughter's lives but another man?

"Daddy! Daddy don't leave me, please!" she cried as the scene switched to her standing alone at the grave of her father. Her mind imagined him standing in front of her, smiling at her before he turned away and started walking away. She vainly tried to follow him but the ground became like quicksand and sucked her feet deeper and deeper the more she tried to move.

Vivian woke up in a cold sweat, panting at the surrealism of the nightmare. Groggily she looked around the room till she spotted her roommate's bed and was glad to see that she hadn't woken her up too. Pushing her covers off, she grabbed her bath things and a towel as she made her way to the girls bathroom. After a nightmare like that, she knew she wasn't going to go back to sleep anytime soon, so she figured she might as well get a hot shower in now before the rest of the girls woke up and used it all up.

She stepped into the showers, quickly getting the adjoining stall going with the hot water. Since she was the only one up, she thought she'd use the extra stall to keep her towel and clothes dry while showering in the other. Stripping off her sweaty pjs, Vivian dropped them to the floor of the shower as she stepped into the scalding water of the running shower. Toning it down some, she let her mind wander where it would as her tense muscles relaxed under the massaging pressure of the water. Yes, this was the best way to start the day after an especially scary nightmare.
