Lounging on her bed, studying a text book, Vivian glanced up at the clock on her night stand. Seeing that it was 11:25, she quickly shut the book and shoved her phone, wallet, and keys into a purse before slipping on some heels and walking out her dorm room door. As she headed out to her car, she fished out her phone to shoot Dana, her roommate a text telling her that she had gone out to meet up with Sarah. Once she had sent the message, she slid into the driver's seat of her car and tore out of the parking lot toward the center of town.
Parking in a spot not too far away from Zumi's, she stepped out of the car and slung her purse over her shoulder. Smiling and saying hello to people who passed her as she walked to the shop. Entering the small building, she looked around at all the people who were inside, searching for her lovely blonde friend. Not seeing her, she walked over to the counter and ordered a Mocha Frappacino and a chocolate eclair before she spotted an open two table.
Snagging the table quickly, she sat down her drink and pastry on its clean surface as she crossed a leg over the other underneath. Brushing loose strands of hair behind her ear, she took a sip of the Mocha. "Mm...yummy!" she said to herself, savoring the delicious taste of the coffee. Taking out her cell, she looked at the time and glanced around her and at the door, waiting to see Sarah show up somewhere. I hope she didn't forget.

Between wedding plans, school, doctor's appointments Sarah barely had time to sit down and relax, even with all the help from Caleb, the gang and their parents. Today was another day of wedding planning with Evelyn, Ellie at the mansion; she loved them both but needed a break. She couldn't eat another bite of cake and had fully entrusted that to Caleb to nail down. Butter cream and fondant had made her queasier, even just to smell them got to her. Bless Vivian for wanting to meet with her, if not she would've had to lock herself away in her room to get a moment to herself. The ladies meant well, but had forgotten that she was pregnant on top of still carrying a full class schedule. She bid her farewells for the time being and promised to return after a little girl time of relaxing.
She grabbed up her bag, phone and keys, but was cut short at the door by Ellie who insisted that she have the driver take her in the Bentley. Begrudgingly she took the safer route as Mrs. P had said. Out the door she finally made it, she slipped into the back of the car that the door was held open for her. After a few moments, they were off down the drive. She didn't know if she could ever really get use to anyone driving her around while she sat in the back, unless of course it was one of the guys that were driving. The drive in to town was even shorter than she remembered but summed it up to the fact that she wasn't driving. The car slowly pulled up to the curb in front of Zumi's. She waited for the driver to come and open the door for her, not something she wanted but it was insisted. She took the drivers offered hand and got out of the car. She nodded to him when he mentioned that he would be parked across the street and would come to get her when she was finished. She thanked him with a smile and then headed off to meet Vivian.
She slipped inside without much notice, or she had at least thought she had. There were always eyes watching around Ipswich, she just didn't care about what twisted version of her life they reported. She walked up to the counter and ordered a strawberry smoothie. She looked around the place as she moved down the line to get her drink, smiled, and waved when she saw Vivian. Barely waiting for her drink to make it into her hand she was off to the table that her friend was sitting. "You have the most perfect timing in the entire world! How did you know I needed a break?" She laughed as she set her bag down in an empty chair and her drink on the table.

She quickly finished up her éclair as she fished her cell from her purse to check her messages, quietly listening to those around her. Glancing up, she saw Sarah enter the building and instantly perked her ears at the sound of the blonde’s name being said in a snide comment. Furrowing her brows, she looked over to the two women who were talking about her friend, giving them a heated glare as she sipped her coffee. Sarah was a really good friend of hers and it wasn’t acceptable that complete strangers were talking about her like they knew her. She smirked when the two women stopped their conversation once they saw her glare, serves them right.
Vivian smiled and returned Sarah’s wave as she finally spotted her, setting her phone down on the table. She laughed as the other woman rushed over to the table as soon as her drink was in hand, standing up to greet her properly. “Well thank you! And I knew because I secretly stalk you at night.” she returned, moving to hug the other blonde. Giggling, she returned to her seat and sipped her drink. “Kidding, kidding. I actually just really missed you and decided I couldn’t go another day without seeing your shining face.” Looking the woman over, she smiled at her old friend.
“You look gorgeous, my dear Sarah!” Vivian spoke, putting as much feeling as she could into her words. It was true, for being stressed with the wedding plans and being pregnant, Sarah couldn’t look more gorgeous than when she first met her. Placing her hand over her cell, she once again crossed her right leg over the other. “So, tell me...How have you been? College going alright with everything that’s happening right now?” taking a breath, she paused. “You and Caleb excited for the wedding? Oh, I can’t wait to see it, I’m sure it’ll the most beautiful wedding on the planet!”
Taking a few deep breaths, she cleared her throat and sighed at herself. “I’m sorry, sorry! Here you are just trying to relax and take some time away from everything and I’m bombarding you with questions.” Smiling apologetically at her friend, “Alright, I’m just going to shut up now and let you talk.” Nodding, she made the motion of zipping her lips and throwing away the key with a smile.

Sarah set her smoothie on the table as she hugged Vivian. "From I heard the position is open." She laughed as she gave her friend another squeeze. "It's really good to see you Vivi." She smiled as she looked at her friend again. "I've missed you too." He said as she took her seat, looking over her shoulder at two women who seemed a little too eager with their waving. She politely smiled and gave them both a little wave. She pushed off the oddness of it all as she turned back to Vivian and took up her smoothie and took a sip.
"Why thank you... " She chuckled and smiled happily as she blushed lightly. "You look fabulous by the way." She smiled as she crossed a leg over the other as she took up her smoothie and took another drink. She chuckled as Vivian went on with her questions about life, school, the wedding. She found it strikingly normal and it felt good. Only a handful of people knew that she was pregnant, even to the shock of her own mother and Evelyn when dress shopping she had only gone up two sizes. Evelyn and Ellie thought it had something to do with the baby's powers, but even the doctors didn't think it that odd from a normal standpoint, one even stated that the baby was high. She felt puffy, but of course, Caleb wouldn't say that, though he did comment on the tiny swell that was forming. She smiled at her friend and just let her ramble on; it was nice to know others that did so as well.
"As long as you aren't asking me which damask I want for the table clothes or if we put vellum in the invitations. I didn't care what you ask me Vivi as long as I don't have to choose." She giggled and took another sip of her smoothie. "Let's see... I've been very well, making sure to eat right and drink plenty of water. School's going well enough, grades aren't suffering but it's not a priority at the moment. I'm sure after winter break things will settle down and come together." She gave a shrug; she had a wedding to expedite and a baby to prepare for... who was she kidding? She had ran off to class with her toothbrush hanging out of her mouth the other morning. "Caleb's cute about it all, I know that he doesn't care about the girly specifics but he's excited about it all... so am I." She grinned and nodded. She didn't know what to do without her Belac and sighed happily. "Now... tell me what is going on in your life and how are things at Spenser. Don't spare a detail!" She giggled and as she took up her smoothie.

Hugging Sarah felt somewhat different, what with the slight baby bump but that wasn't a bother. She was just so happy for her friend, who found her true love after such a rough time trying to find him. Besides the two were positively happy together, and in her opinion, perfect for each other. “Well, if you have an application, I'd like to apply now please. Then I could steal you away for myself!” she replied, adding in an evil cackle for good measure. She was sure that the other customers were staring at her in scared perplexity, waiting to see if she was going to turn psycho no bet. She returned the extra squeeze with a delighted smile, glad to see the blond so happy.
Sipping her drink, she widened her eyes at the other girl's comment about her appearance. “You really think so? I didn't want to get too dolled up, but I didn't want to dull it down too much either. So I went simple, yet fashionably so..” Vivian said, pretending to pose for an imaginary camera. Laughing, she scrunched her face at Sarah as she listened to her speak of the woes of throwing a wedding. “Well then, it sounds if I don't want to be bothered with having to choose all these important wedding things, then I should make a list of what I want and be done with it!” she declared, nodding her head to show that she had made it final.
Her eyes lit up once again when Sarah began talking about Caleb and their excitement about getting married. Just looking at her friend as she talked about the man, she could tell that Ms. Wenham couldn't wait to be Mrs. Caleb Danvers. She couldn't wait to see the woman in her wedding gown walking down the aisle, it would be spectacular! “Well, its good that you two are excited, if you weren't I should think that there was something the matter with you!” she spoke, scoffing as the conversation took a turn toward her life.
Humming for a second as she thought about her answer, she shrugged her shoulders. “School's good as usual, mother would be appalled if I slacked off before even the middle of the year so no worries there.” Sticking her tongue out the corner of her mouth, she looked around quickly and then leaned toward Sarah. “Promise you won't flip your lid if I tell you something?” she whispered quietly so the other customers couldn't overhear her, but loud enough for the other blond to hear. “You see, there's this really cute and fantastic guy that I really really like at school. But, I'm not sure if he feels the same way or is just pretending.” Glancing around, she slowly sat backward, twiddling with her thumbs and smiling fondly as she thought about him. “Actually, I think you might know him.”

Sarah laughed at what Vivi had said about the position open for her stalker, it seemed funny now, but there was a time that she didn't dare take one-step out of line without fear that those prying eyes seeing and reporting of her error. It was all behind them now and it was definitely for the best. "I promise that I will be more than able to be visited soon enough." She chuckled as she thought of her near future and then sighed. "I knew there was a good reason we were friends, girl... I'd hate to be on your bad side." She laughed. "Like I said, fabulous... absolutely perfect!" She giggled, it was nice to just be a normal person and not think about any of issues that were constantly brewing. "Be prepared, that's the only advice I can give you. Know what you want before you jump in with both feet." She chuckled, yes she had dreamed of this event going much differently. It would've been after grad school and definitely, there wouldn't be a baby trying to make his presence known. She tried to keep the basic thought of their wedding to one point, the two of them. It wasn't about who was invited or what they were having for appetizers; all it boiled down to was Caleb and herself. "Excellent idea!" She laughed her way out of her thoughts as she came back to the world around her. "Terribly excited, I can't wait to actually sign my married name for the first time... I have to admit, I have been practicing." She chuckled as she brought the straw up to her lips for a drink.
She listened intently as Vivi spoke of life at Spenser and chuckles at the girl's antics. She blinked as Vivi leaned towards her and she followed suit, nodding her promise at first. "I swear it..." She giggled, hoping that Vivian wasn't about to tell her that she was a Knight. Oh, thank goodness it's a guy. Sarah giggled a bit more in relief. "I know him... are you sure?" She did know her fair share of people, even more so now, but whom could her friend be referring to? "Really cute and fantastic... and it's not Caleb... you've got me... who is?" She joked about the Caleb part but finally gave in and asked for her own sanity at least.

Vivian enjoyed hearing her friend laughing, it would do the poor woman some good to have some fun. She could only imagine how her friend was not pulling her hair out with all the stifling wedding plans that were being shoved down her throat. Though she was joking about signing up for Sarah's stalker position, she had at least achieved in her goal of getting the girl to loosen up. Sure Mrs. Danvers and whoever else was helping Sarah plan the wedding meant well, but sometimes the best thing to do was give a woman her space. Especially when she was planning a wedding and not to mention pregnant! “Well, I hope so dearie. Honestly you must have the patience of a saint if you haven't gone bald yet!” she spoke, shaking her head.
Smiling and nodding, she reached over to gently pat Sarah's hand reassuringly. “Considering the fact that your taking everything in good stride, I'd say your future is bright. So things aren't going as planned, but then again fate likes to throw everyone a curve ball now and then, keep us on our toes.” Vi said, giving the girl's hand a squeeze. Thinking about her brilliant idea of making a list of things for her wedding, she nodded in agreement at her friend's words. She then giggled at what her friend said about practicing signing her married name. Vivian could just imagine the girl sitting in her room humming to herself while doodling her married name all over a notebook. “Oh really? And how do you like signing said name?” she asked, sipping some more of her drink.
Vivian had to admit, she was terribly nervous about telling Sarah about her secret. She wasn't sure if she'd approve of the two, should they ever truly get up the nerve to ask the other out. Not to mention, she was terribly worried about whether or not he felt the same as she did, hence her hesitating in asking him on a date. Though she was kind of hoping that he would ask her first if he felt the same. She nodded at her friend's question, very sure that the two were actually good friends. Taking a deep breath as she twiddled her thumbs, she looked up shyly. “It's Aleric Artois.” she rushed, a blush rising to her cheeks in embarrassment.

If felt so good to be relaxed and not surrounded by testosterone. She giggled lightly with that thought, and smiled at Vivian. Sarah finished her drink and pushed the empty container away from herself as she chuckled at what was said. "I don't know about a saint, but deep breathing keeps me sane... most of the time. Other than that I just pray that they all take pity on me." She gave Vivi's hand a squeeze with her other hand in thanks. There weren't many who knew what was really going on. Arty's little joke on the netcafe had nearly sent her into a frantic mess, but Caleb and she had thought it was best to ignore the ordeal all together and not play into his normal games. "I work best under pressure..." She shrugged with a chuckle. Sarah looked away for a moment and then giggled with a hint of a blush on her cheeks. "I love signing it, printing it, doodling my initials." She bashfully admitted. "But not as much as I like saying it, in all honesty I can't wait to hear someone say it after its official." She giggled a bit more with a shake of her head before she pulled herself together.
"Now... spill it!" She laughed, egging Vivi on to tell her about this mystery man. She watched as her friend milled around about telling her. Of course, curiosity was getting the better of her as she thought of all the guys she knew that Vivi would know. She was about read to grab her friend's hands and beg, but Vivian spoke right before she did. Her eyes went wide as she realized what she had heard. After a moment, she finally blinked and then smiled. "Really! Aleric..." She sounded pleased but still shocked. If the girl only knew, that Arty had been her stalker... that might have been something to do more with Caleb than actually her, but that was neither here nor there anymore. "Aleric isn't shy, if he's acted like he likes you then he probably does." She nodded and of course left out everything about the spying and the like. "He's different but in a good way. Go for it!" She smiled happily.
