Appearance:
Her blond hair is straight and a little past her shoulders. She likes to have it down, but while in school or researching she tends to have it either back in a ponytail or up in a loose bun. She isn't glow-in-the-dark pale, but she isn't extremely tan either; fair skin comes with fair hair. She is casually dressed in what Kate would call BSC (Boston Suburban Casual). She's a cotton girl and we’ll leave it at that. Though she has found (with a little help from Kate) that fashion is indeed fun.
Personality & Attitude:
She is reserved part of the time, unless boredom gets the best of her. Back home again, or at least a bit closer than Ipswich, if she seems wallflowerish it is merely for observation. She is a kind individual, probably could be seen doing volunteer work for the elderly, children or animals. Having come from Spenser Academy on a scholarship and now attend Harvard on a scholarship, she is a hard working student that has her priorities set. Though her time at Spenser has taught her to deal with the snobs of the world, it did not make her cold or uncaring to those around her.
She has become extremely close to her once and again roommate Kate Tunney and would do anything for her "sister from another mister". The Sons of Ipswich are still as close to her as ever, even after a year of ups, downs and "normal" Spenser life. There are still questions, but with careful thought and research she's taken her steps into a new world with those closest to her.

Background & History:
Sarah is the only child of a Carpenter and a School textbook text editor. Her family is of modest finances, but she was never without the basic necessities of life. She knows the value of a dollar and how much her scholarships means to both her parents and her future. She grew up in the Fenway area of Boston, in a six-story walk-up with endless amounts of playmates throughout the neighborhood. She was an unusually quiet child, being entertained for hours by flipping through books that she couldn't read, but made up stories to go with the pictures that she saw. She would greet her father each day when he came home from work at the entrance door to their apartment building with a sweet smile. For the trek up the stairs to their home she would ask him about his day and share in a new story that she had made up.
Beloved by both her parents, they knew that they wanted better for their only daughter than for her to be hampered by her middle class upbringing. They pushed her lovingly in her studies throughout her primary and intermediate education. The letter from Spenser Academy was met with both elation and sadness. But with hugs and kisses she loaded her car up and headed to Ipswich... hoping that the centuries old prep school would hold the key to her future. Much to no one's surprise she flourished at the school and with ample amounts of hard work and dedication she became co-valedictorian with Caleb Danvers. With a full summer's worth of craziness that involved a few whirlwind parties, chance meeting of the Pope, and a few stops in Europe, she joins with a few familiar faces at Harvard in the fall.
Sample RP:
Sarah sat in the nearly empty lecture hall in her seat at the elongated curved desk. Dressed in her school uniform, all except for her jacket, it was tossed over the seat next to her. The only other person in the hall was the professor’s assistant, who was left to grade papers. She had asked if she could stay after to go over her notes and start her paper that was due in a few weeks. The Library or her dorm room would have served the same purpose, but she was already here and the Library didn’t have some of the books that the professor kept on the shelves in the back. Besides the fact of Kate wanting to talk more than study. She had to remember why she was here. Studying was more important then idle gossip, though she did enjoy a good story now and then. She leaned her left elbow on the desk with her cheek in her palm; a pair of ear buds were in her ears as she wrote out her notes from the recording of the lecture.
When the professor’s mind would stray off topic, she doodled in the margins, mainly flowers and birds. As the professor droned on, she mindlessly drew a heart with hers and Caleb’s initials in it. She looked around for a moment to see if there had been any visitors to see her artwork. Happy of course seeing that there weren’t any. With a frustrated sigh she started to erase the C, but the professor had gotten back on track and she quickly went back to her note taking. As the recording came to an off topic question about their papers she lifted her head from her palm and looked at her watch. She felt like she had been sitting there for hours, but it only had been ten minutes. She shook her head lightly before she rested her chin in her palm again. She took up her pencil again and started jotting down more notes.
Her pencil slowed as the professor’s monotone voice got the better of her. As she started to nod off her handwriting looked more like an EKG reading than words. The assistant had finished with his work and was heading up the row near her. He didn’t want to wake her, so he pulled a pack of post-it notes out of his bag and jotted down TURN THE LOCK WHEN YOU LEAVE with a pen that lay near her notebook. With a smirk he lightly pressed it to her forehead, tucked the post-it notes in his bag and promptly left. So she napped with her arm and head slowly slipping towards the desk and of course a post-it note stuck to her forehead.
