Personality & Attitude:
Calamity is a nice girl (well if she takes a liking to you anyway) but not one to be crossed, ever; if you do you do it on pain of death. Like the saying says ‘Hell hath no fury like love to hatred turned nor hell a fury like a women scorned' this girls one you really don’t want to scorn. Calamity can be sweet but is never shy to speak to someone; mainly because she sees speaking to someone like living. If you don't take a few risks then you can never truly say you’ve lived.
When most people first meet Calamity she is very open about her feelings though she silently observes them before doing so, often waiting a while before choosing if she calls them friend or foe. She gets an idea of what kind of person they are from their first impression and goes from there on how to treat them and work with them if she feels she can. When she does eventually open up she is always viewed as friendly unless you say something to annoy or upset her and then you may want to run for the hills.
Though the friendly side of Calamity is the most commonly seen side of her those who truly know her and have witnessed her fouler mood know that it’s best to not annoy her if you value your life. She has no regrets about any of the fights she's gotten into and really doesn't care if people think her violent or that she has too much of a fighters attitude, they clearly don't know her. True she doesn’t mind getting into fights but she can honestly say that she has never started a fight or get involved in a fight that wasn’t her own unless to split it up.
She hardly ever looses her temper but even when she does, she calms down very quickly. Usually she removes herself from the company of others as not to say something she could later regret.
Calamity is protective of her friends and won't allow anyone to push her friends or herself around, she isn't the sort of girl to back out of a challenge and if you try to push her around your challenging her so watch out, she also doesn’t like to be confined and restricted.
However, this can’t be said for her family whom she openly dislikes and makes no attempt to hide it from them. When she came to Ipswich she was alone, she can’t stand her family, even her younger siblings. Calamity feels that her family abused their wealth and power where they could have used it to help people rather than to further their own gain.
She can be seen as a bad girl but she isn't all that bad when you get to know her. She can appear cold at times (when you mess with her friends) but she has a warm heart under the layers of ice that have developed there after going through the whole of her life with seemingly no-one being interested in her for her. She was pursued by many boys who thought that by going out with her they would gain something but she never gave them the chance, she turned them away, refusing to be used.
Calamity's sick of being ignored those whose attention to would welcome, she isn't really ignored by them but they often treat her like an outsider or a little sister and although that gives her some slight comfort it makes her feel as if that is all she's ever going to be. The little sister.

Appearance:
Calamity has jet black hair, like her mother. Her hair is long and nearly always looks neat, it reaches the bottom of her shoulder blade and is nearly always hanging loosely around her shoulders; it is always either poker straight or in gentle waves. Mostly straight though, in her view she looks too much like her mother with wavy hair. She has pale skin that is really brought out by the hair that frames her face and then there is her eyes. Her striking and bright cerulean eyes, her eyes are like a well that you can never see the bottom of. You can tell what sort of mood she's in by just looking at her eyes, if they are closer to blue than green she's in a relatively good mood but if they look dark green it would be better if you didn't speak to her. Her eyes whether blue and striking, or green and dark, they give the illusion that she can see right through you.
Her overall look is one of an innocent dark angel, appearing delicate yet graceful as she walked through the corridors of life with silent steps. She has slender legs and curves in all the right places if you catch my drift. Some people would say she was under weight but she would merely say that it was from her working out which she does for about 2 hours each different, whether it’s going for a run or merely working out in her room.
On her right shoulder blade she has a tattoo of a black rose surrounded by a circle thorns, she got the tattoo when she was 10 as every female member of the Fury family does.
She has an enchanting smile, warm and friendly, there is hardly a time when she isn’t smiling while in public but when she’s alone is a different matter. She isn’t always as happy as her smile would have people believe though very few people could tell whether it is a real smile or not.
Calamity is usually seem wearing an ankle length white trench coat that actually touches the ground when she stands still, a tank top ,that is usually either black or white depending upon her mood, or sometimes a fitted shirt but it just depend upon the mood she is in while dressing. Her clothes always have Heavens Sinner on them somewhere, whether on the shoulder of her tank top or on the back of her shirts or on the rear of her trousers. She also wears black combats that hide her knee high lace up boots or black ballet shoes. Criss-crossed belts always hang on her hips.

Younger brother, Dante Fury
Younger sister, Kyrie Fury
Background & History:
It was a typical February day in Venice when Varnia Fury went into labour and having been pregnant for 8 ½ months, as night fell the cries of two children could be heard, Varnia had given birth to twins. A boy and a girl who were named Envy Caleb Fury and Calamity Amaya Fury. Both Varnia and Tristan were very pleased with their children, they had been hoping for a boy to inherit their large estate and carry on the family line, having a girl was just an added bonus.
During the twins earlier years they spent very little time with their mother, who was more concerned with her appearance than the well being and raising of her children. Calamity spent the first four years of her life with five different nannies while her brother had only three. Calamity never really cared about the lack of her motherly care and influence. She was taught to speak in fluent Italian, French, German, English, Latin and Russian by the age of 7 by the nannies who were constantly with her but there was someone else for the nannies to look after now, Calamity was given twin siblings when she was 5, Dante and Kyrie. Who much to the horror of Calamity would follow in their parents and brothers footsteps.
By the time she was 10, Calamity was already being taught how a young woman of the Social economic elite should behave and appear. But even at a young age Calamity rebelled against the snobbish attitude her family seemed to be so well known for, Dante and Kyrie. Who much to the horror of Calamity would follow in their parents and brothers footsteps. Calamity was the only one that wasn’t only concerned about the wealth and the reputation of her family.
Calamity refused to let them corrupt her, she sought freedom away from the home that had kept her hidden from the world where only the balls and formal dances served as a break from the walls of her home and school. Calamity was taken by her nannies to see a dance recital. Calamity loved it and wrote to her grandmother about it, her grandmother was the only member of her family that Calamity spoke to. Her grandmother organised for her to have dance lessons, Calamity loved it, she took to it like a fish to water and was soon one of the best dancers in her class, performing regularly in front of audiences that never included her family. Her grandmother however, never missed a performance.
She’d found her emotional outlet, her grandmother took her from the house of her parents, changing her name to Calamity Amaya Black Rose and decided that it was time for the girl who’d been a caged bird was now free to do as she pleased with only her grandmother to go with her instead of the five nanny escort. Her grandmother indulged her not only with education that showed just how truly intelligent that Calamity was and as well as letting her continue her dance classes enlisted her in snowboarding classes for the winter and surfing for when they went in holidays.
Calamity flourished under her grandmothers guardianship, she was taught everything that her grandmother could think of and Calamity loved it. Calamity enjoyed a very stable life with her grandmother, she enjoyed life. She loved to dance and her grandmother made sure that she was there for each performance but alas, Calamity and her grandmother moved. She was 17 and almost finished her education but Calamity didn’t complain, she wanted to be rid of the constant influence of her family.
Ipswich. They moved into a large and beautiful house a few miles away from Ipswich, Calamity was going to attend Spenser Academy and finish her education but recently she was starting to change, something is dying to escape and show itself.

Silence. Such a beautiful yet fleeting thing, especially in the courtyard that the 17 year old walked in. She was merely walking aimlessly, she had nothing better to do. Her so called friends were busy with other things with pretty much no time for the fallen angel known at Calamity.
I wonder what I’ll be like when we return to Suna, I won’t have all my friends….I’ll just make new ones I suppose.
The young Black Rose pushed these thoughts aside and continued her walk through the courtyard, silently hoping for some company, so far this week she’d made zero friends and spoken to only one person who‘d help her grandmother put up an arch in the garden.
Bright cerulean eyes turned to the sky, it was quite a nice evening, only a gentle breeze blew through the garden, making Calamity’s black ankle length flutter slight. Her fitted shirt was white and had a red rose over her heart, her trousers were also white and slightly flared. Upon her size 4 feet were white ballet shoes, allowing her to move silently around the grounds.
Calamity was more relaxed than usual, maybe it was because of the change of new scenery, one where she could dance to her hearts content and not have to worry about her parents eyes constantly on her as the outcast of the family.
As she walked words formed in her mind, from where she didn’t know but she knew they weren’t her own.
In my dreams, I hold her still,
Angel, lover, Mother.
And in my dreams, I kiss her lips,
Mistress, Muse, Daughter.
She gave me life
I gave her death
My beautiful Marquise.
And on the Devil's Road we walked
Two orphans then together.
And does she hear my hymns tonight
of Kings and Queens and Ancient truths?
Of broken vows and sorrow?
Or does she climb some distant path
where rhyme and song can't find her?
Come back to me, my Gabrielle
My Beautiful Marquise.
The castle's ruined on the hill
The village lost beneath the snow
But you are mine forever.
It was one of the songs sung by the Vampire Lestat in the book The Vampire Lestat by the writer she liked so much, Anne Rice. Alessandra had read all of her books, more than once, they were like an addiction to her. Each of the characters was unique and completely different, her favourites were the twins, Mekare and Maharet. Their story was truly interesting, maybe it was for that reason that she’d read Queen of the Damned more than once.
A sigh left her lips, unfortunately for her, all of her beloved books had been left at home and the library didn’t have them so she was reduced to wandering aimlessly.
